Baby Shopping!

So yeah
We went to KL last 2 weekends
Purposely to attend the Parenthood Expo in MidValley

Gerak from JB Friday night around 10.30 am
Mak ikut sekali
Sampai KL, umah SIL, around 1.30 am
The traffic is quite buzy I must say
Probably sbb Johor long weekend kan
So ramai yg travel that night

So Saturday morning tu
Dgn tak mandinye, had breakfast at nasi lemak tanglin
That many has been raving about
But to me, I don’t really like it
Sambal dia tu, cair…
For nasi lemak, I prefer sambal yg pekat
Tapi of course la habis je 1 pinggan tu…hihihi

Then balik, mandi and siap²
Time to shop!
We reached MV around 11.15 gitu
Cari parking je dekat setgh jam
Hubs dh mule nk angin
Coz bape kali dia dok tawaf

Nasib baik tgh dok mencari tu,
By then dh 11.45,
Diorang bukak parking area yg season parking tu
So dpt la park

Nk dijadikan cerita,
Masa tgh cari parking,
SIL called hubs
And says that her friend bitau, expo tu tak byk brg baby
Kononnye byk aktiviti toddlers
Makin nk nak naik angin la dear hubs kan
I pon dh mula xde mood tgk dia mcm tu…

Anyhoo, dpt je parking,
We went straight to the exhibition Hall
Dlm hati I dok la berdoa yg the Expo is not THAT bad
Kalau tak, mmg sia² je kitorg travel all the way

Sampai, register, dpt sticker each
Bile kt depan tu, rase frustrated gak
Sbb dr luar tu mmg nampak mcm ade activity space utk budak²
Tak nampak pon booth jual² barang ke ape
Tp bile dh masuk dalam², baru la nampak semua

Memula tu, dok belek² je la
Pegang baju, letak balik
Pegang blanket, letak balik
Seriously, i tak tau mana nak start
Hubs pon bengang je tgk I mcm tu

Then jln lg, stop by kt booth myBBstore tak silap
Nampak good deal on Tommee Tippee feeding bottle
Being first timer, I’m not sure I should get the 5oz or yg 9oz punye
And I need keyakinan yg decision I utk beli TT instead of other brands, is the right decision
I pon dok tanye mommies yg dok tgh belek the bottle
Yea. I tak tanye sales girl, cos they will tend to be bias kan
And 2 ladies there advised me the same thing
So I get the 2 x 9oz tinted TT
Yea. 2 bottles je…cukup ke eh?
Coz I fikir, I planned to InsyaAllah BF our little one
So I don’t see the reason why I need too many bottles
Storage bottles tu, ye la kot perlu byk kan
Ke I silap? Anyone care to share?

With that first ever purchase for our little one,
Yg lain² tu, senang je beli
Nampak, belek, berkenan, bayar
Hoh! Duit pon mcm air

We spent almost 3 hours kt dlm tu
Alhamdulillah, baby tak meragam
I pon takdela exhausted ke suffocated ke ape kn
Cume biase la, dh jln lame² tu, mesti la skt kaki
Hubs pon sakit kaki…hihihi

So decided stop kejap
Coz lgpon our hands are already full mase tu,
Hantar all the purchases to the car,
Naik balik, gi mkn kt Carl’s Jr
Nasib dpt tempat duduk yg best
So dok situ lama skit
Mkn pon pelan2 je

Agak² dh puas duduk,
we went back to the hall
sambung shopping lagi…miaahhhaha
gile ah…

I’m not sure price wise kt situ ok ke tak,
Cos I tak rase kt situ harga dia murah TERAMAT ke ape
Tp murah la jugak berbanding harga kt luar
Tu pon based on the research I did on random items la
So to me, it’s worth it la, especially I yg dok JB ni
Susah nk jumpe kedai yg jual brand yg I prefer

All in all
I’m proud to say that
We managed to strike off 85% of our baby’s checklist
Alhamdulillah
Dpt beli bajus, mittens, booties, hats, blankets, towels, toilettries,
Feeding bottles, segala mak nenek cream, bathtub,
Barut, bedung, detergent, baby wipes, changing mat, beddings,
And ape ntah lagi…dh tak ingat

Basically we only bought items yg kami rase mmg essential for our little one’s arrival
Yg tak bape penting tu, nanti² pon bole beli
Or kt JB pon bole beli or beli je online
Barang yg penting tapi belom dibeli cuma diapers je
I planned to get PetPet…kt expo takde jual pon
Yg ade brand whopper tak silap
Takpe tu boleh beli kt tesco je nnt

Lain² yg perlu dibeli, tapi tak bape penting
Is Stroller, CarSeat, Sterilizer, Warmer,
baju cantik², mainan, and maybe more baju persalinan

For me sendiri pulak,
I sempat capai nursing poncho, breast pads, EBM storage packs and 2 helai nursing wear
Cari jugak great deal for breastpump, tapi tak jumpe
I’m still eyeing on the Breastpump package from OBW
InsyaAllah minggu depan, I’ll order them

Lagi bersemangat bile ptg smlm, mase nk mandi tu
I perasan my right breast dh mule keluar susu
It looks a bit yellowish, which I believe the colostrums
It’s a good sign kan?
InsyaAllah, dgn izin Allah, itulah rezeki our little one nnt
I yg terlampau excited, smpai terfikir nk tadah susu tu semalam
Padahal bukannya menitik² ke ape
Just bile I picit, nmpak ade sikit keluar…happy sgt²….

Ah, lagi satu set bersalin
Yg ni pon not sure nk beli ape or yg mana
Balik² I google, mesti org recommend Nona Roguy
Agak mahal jugak eh…
I thought bende² ni dlm 100 plus je…
Upenye jejak 300 plus la jugak….erk!
So, I haven’t decided yet
Tgklah nnt macam mane

So skrg all the stuff masih lagi dlm plastic kt umah
I haven’t find the time to organize them
Hubs lagi la…dok tanye bile I nak prepare hospital bags
Mentang² barang baby dh almost settle,
Tak sabar betol dia nk jumpe anak dia
Hari² dok kata rindu baby…

Pdhal baru je 7months kan
Tapi ade jugak mommies yg lahirkan baby at 7 months kan
Hurm….dh bersedia ke I???
Tetibe rase cuak!
