6 Months!!!

Hari ni rasa macam nk update

hey hey
esok genap 6 bulan kami diakadkan (and our little one turns 21 weeks/5m1w)
tp takde satu pon cerita majlis kami yg I share kt sini
setiap kali nk wat review, rasa malas
ala...majlis kami pon biasa2 jee
nothing much to talk about
tapi cukup meriah utk meraikan kami
takpela...satu hari nnt, agak2 rajin, I’ll post about it k

6 months along in this courtship,
Seperti pasangan lain, we had our ups and downs
Marriage life ni mmg sgt mencabar
Bukan setiap saat kita akan gembira/tertawa
Ade masa mmg happy…teramat happy
Lagi bila fikir yg orang yg kita dok gurau senda siang mlm, yg buat kita tertawa tu ialah suami
Suami….sebut perkataan tu pon cam meremang je rase
Of course, ade jugak masa2 bila emosi terganggu, jiwa tercalar, kes2 merajuk
Itu biasa la kan…adat berumah tangga
Tapi bila dh kawin ni, nk gaduh lama2 pon tak boleh...
Sebelom tidur, mesti nk berbaik
Orang tu jugak laah yg dicari buat bantal pelok mlm kang 

On another note, Tanggungjawab yg dipikul semenjak the moment kita diijabkabul tu, sgtlah byk
Kalau dulu, nk buat ape2, buat jeeee…tak payah pikir2 pasal org lain
But now, once you’re someone’s wife, suami adalah yg yang terpenting
Nk beli pape, kene pikir, suami suka tak eh?
Nk gi mana, mesti minta izin suami
Nk buat sesuatu, kene pikir maruah suami
Ape pon, suami jugak dlm fikiran

Tak kira lah penat mana masa bekerja, bila balik, mesti dok piker, nk masak ape utk suami mlm ni
To those yg tak tahu memasak, to me, tu semua alasan
Semua orang tahu memasak…infact, lelaki pon tahu memasak
Tapi MALAS jeeee…. (mcm my hubs….heeee)
Girls…..it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to be able to cook
Tapi it takes a lot of experience to be a good cook
Nampak tak beza kt situ….tahu masak VS pandai masak
Cari je lah resepi kt google tu
My fav spot utk cari resepi is at Myresipi.com
Cube je laaa mana2 yg agak menarik dan berkenan di hati

Percayalah, kebanyakan suami (especially yg baru kawin) tak kesah pon ape yg isteri nya masak
Yg penting, dia dpt rase sendiri masakan home cook isterinya
Tak kesah lah kalau hanya nasi berlaukkan telur goreng dan kicap
Itu dh sgt sedap berbanding hari2 dok mkn kt kedai mamak

And so far, Alhamdulillah, I’m able to cook for my husband
And yg paling buat makin bersemangat, bila dia memuji (kalau sedap) or even blurted a simple ‘thank you’ for the dish
I mengaku, not everyday I dapat masak, lagi2 dgn keadaan yg berbadan dua ni
But I did try to every other day….
at least seminggu tu ade la air tangan I yg mengenyangkan my hubs…

Speaking of berbadan dua ni, kami teramat bersyukur Ya Allah di atas kurniaanNYA ni
I have a confession…. I did plan to plan (faham tak?)
I pernah tell myself to be ‘kosong’ for at least sebulan
I never mentioned this to my hubs (sorry syg)
Cause he will never agree on this..he loves kids too much…
so do I…but I have some valid reason for feeling so
Therefore, no formal protection or prevention procedure that we follow/used

Bukan I nak menidakkan rezeki Allah
Tapi, bile I fikirkan yg masa awal2 kahwin tu, kami belom dpt betul2 settle down, I jadi risau
Sebulan kami masih tinggal di rumah in law
Hubs already start rented our current apartment, a week before our wedding
Tapi keadaan rumah yg belom lengkap isinya
And financial constrain yg melengahkan kami utk ‘mengisi’ rumah, buat kami makin lambat settle down
So I fikir, if I ever get pregnant too early, nnt mcm mana nk pindah kan?
Nk kemas2 rumah and so on
Sure renyah gile and worst if I mabuk teruk
Kesian pulak hubs kene buat semua sorg2 kan

Alhamdulillah, Allah knows best
I merancang, and Allah menentukan
Niat I dimakbulkan Allah

Tak dinafikan, masa kali kedua ‘my bestfriend’ dtg sejak kahwin on 15 Jan
which happened to be on a day after hubs birthday
masa tu I fikir, kalau I betol pregnant, dpt la I bagi rezeki Allah ni as the best ever birthday gift to hubs kan…of course tu hanya khayalan…. ‘___’
so bila mmg miss P dtg, I risau...I started to doubt myself
Mule terpikir, will I be able to conceive ever? Is there anything wrong with me?
Tp masa tu baru sebulan lebih kawin kot…
Tp gelabah mcm ape jeeee

Kiranya betol2 genap sebulan, I mmg ’kosong’
Cos approximately a month ++ later, bila kami dh hamper sebulan settle down di rumah kami, I disahkan 5 weeks pregnant
Syukur sgt2 masa tu
It was such a perfect timing 

Tapi tu lah, orang baru kawin ni kan
Financially belom berapa stable
Mana nk beli brg umah
Mana nk uruskan hidup
Rase mcm baru semalam ikat perut utk simpan duit nk kawin
Ni dh kene save up utk the little one pulak
Takpe lah, Allah pon dh janji, setiap anak yg lahir, ade rezekinya nnt.. InsyaAllah

Tapi kannnn….dulu, sebelum kawin, sebelum betol2 berniat nk kawin,
I selalu ade mslh duit ni
I mean, i dok laa risau, mana laaa aku nk cekau duit nk buat kawin ni
Mana laaaa nk dpt duit utk hidup after kawin lagi
Byk betol nk pakai duit
Mama siap ckp I ni mcm paranoid..mcm org gila duit… ‘___’

Tapi Alhamdulillah, bila niat kita tu baik, Allah permudahkan
Smpai sekarang, I mcm tak percaya, we managed to get through it
Ye laaa..kami berdua bukan dr keluarga berada
Keje pon biasa2 je….
Nk kata hidup mewah tu, mmg jauh sekali
Tapi belom pernah lah sesak sampai tak makan ke ape kan...syukur

Oh…dh byk melalut
All im saying here,
Im blessed with my life
With this marriage
With a lovely-sometimes annoying-patient-kind-sometimes ignorant-caring life partner

Syg…I know I may not be a perfect wife,
but thank you for accepting me, correcting me, layan kerenah farah yg kadang2 tah pape tu, and most importantly for loving me….

ade makcik/kawan my MIL dh offer nk buat
and my MIL tak sampai hati nk tolak
sbb kononnye dia dh beli brg² utk wat sirih junjung tu

and on the other hand, Abg Nizam pon dh order the fresh flowers
unfortunately, those order tak boleh cancel

so, we decided to use the sirih junjung by Abg Nizam for kakak's engagement
initially, mmg dh ade org nk buatkan akak
luckily, that person belom beli brg and tak kesah if we cancel it
so, that explain why sirih junjung tu, out of theme

i taknak diorg buat kt my house
kabut jadi nye kang

so masa abg nizam hantar tu, org lain semua dh tido
i sorg je terjaga (of coz la abg nizam col dulu kan)
dgn tgh berinai nye i bukak gate sesorg
nasib ade my aunt pon tgh tdo² ayam masa tu,
so dia tolong susunkan sekali

then pagi tu kan dah kelam kabut bersiap semua
so masing² tak sempat nk dok telek n belek hantaran tu
tup tup dh selamat ke tgn pihak lelaki

but after all, kami berpuas hati dgn gubahan tu

Today

from klinik terus blk anggerik
sempat tido for a couple of hours
then my dearest abg planner kejut
mintak I fitting baju

went to his bridal,
alhamdulillah, the dress fits me well
tetibe tak sabar nk sanding lagi!
gedik kan? bahahhaha

then, shoot to rinting
my husband's family place
igt nk tolong pape yg patut
tp cam takde kerja sgt
ni yg sempat online ni

kt luar, org tgh sibuk pasang khemah
nizam n team, pasang pelamin
hopefully nizam will do a great job mcm dia buat at my place
I'll do a review on him n team nnt k

Kluang & Spore over the weekend

ok.makin lama, makin tak berupdate
adat la tu kan

makin nk dekat ni, makin byk bende remeh yg perlu dibuat
and of course, DIBELI!!!!

last wiken, ari sabtu, we went to Kluang

to attend majlis Ceq Rose
sesat barat jugak lah kami!
anyone nk hadiahkan GPS?
muahahhaha

long story short,
gamba je la k

 

blk dari tu, supposedly, nk ajak mama, ayah n akak
tgk our house
tp, cancel last minute

so we went for furniture hunting
Yippeeeeeee

memula igt nk survey je
sekali terbeli terus sbb we get great deal from the uncle
yg penting, free delivery! muahahahha

kami beli kedai biasa² je
survey cavenzi, tapi dia charge 60 utk delivery,
plus, stock kene tunggu 2 minggu
no good!

btw, we managed to grab bedroom set and kitchen cabinet
itu je yg kami beli dulu
next in line is fridge and washing machine
these should come first!

then on sunday, its my cousin, Farhan's birthday and engagement day!

so off we shoot to spore by 9 am

susah nk percaya...tapi...PERCAYALAH!!!

tapi biasanya it is related to wedding issues la
and Alhamdulillah, we reconcile soon after
takde dh nk merajuk or gaduh panjang² ke ape
no more time for that!

ok progress time!

1. smlm pegi dentist dgn mama n ayah. all 3 did scalliing. ngade kan? hahahaha...suppose to go esok. tp ade 1 ulcer di gigi bongsu, and another 2 dlm tekak. so sgt risau. takut jadi mcm tragedi hari tunang. Alhamdulillah. nothing to worry about. they say its due to stress. stress ke haku? psl wedding, x sgt...psl keje, maybe! so i need to go slow on my work. for these 2 weeks laaa...taknak laa kang ari kawin, dok gumam mulut je....skt takleh cakap.

2. baju nikah dh fitting smlm. Alhamdulillah. I love it to bits. the cutting and size, ngam²! tp, tgn tu extra panjang. am contemplating nk pendekkan ke tak....tang kain, as I've always wanted. love. love. love! skrg tgh anta beadings. hopefully I'll love it even more with the beadings later on. InsyaAllah.

3. baju sanding suppose to siap by today. so maybe tonight or tomorrow night akan fitting. together with dear Fiance. tak sabar plus nervous!


4. meet the caterer session tonight. nk finalize on the menu, settings and whatnot. not to forget, to discuss on the dos and don't s

5. wedding signage, half way done....igtkan dh ok...tapi ayah kate tak cukup....tu yg dr siap, terus kene consider separuh siap. I'll try to make it done by tomorrow. patutnye bende ni dh boleh settle dr last month lagi. gedik betol. semua nk last minute!!! haih la fana.....

6. aritu ade beli Lulur Scrub Putri Binari....waduhhhh...wangiiii gileeee!!!! rase mcm nk cium kulit sendiri the whole night...for now, every other day, pakai lulur tu before mandi....suke sgt2!!!! next week, baru gi wat spa...duit dh sgt tight.so amik yg simple² je..tak payah lah amik yg pakej pengantin tu... :(

7. I'm trying my best to jage kesihatan, have enuff sleep, and maintain an optimum energy level. harap², we both are fit for that day. eh. bukan kami je, tp the whole family. InsyaAllah. tp ni skrg tgh menternak ulcers. tp harap² by this week, semua surut la k?

8. yes. I hired a planner. i didn't tell anyone in the office. somehow, someone, blurted it out to someone, and that someone tell someone else, and now it seems like everyone knows. and yg jadi masalah, they kinda have high expectations on the wedding. and THAT, makes my stress level went upstairs!

9. I know many of my friends are not able to make it on our wedding. sedih, mmg sedih....but I faham. dh la majlis on Sunday, yg jauh² tu, mesti susah nk dtg kan? on another note, a week before me, which is this wiken, a good friend of mine, is getting married too, in Kluang...so nk tak nak, they have to choose one of these 2 weddings to attend la kan...and sadly, the bride herself, pon tak dpt dtg my wedding. cos dia dh nk ikut husband, a couple of days before my reception... :( btw, siape yg g majlis ceqros???hopefully kite dpt jumpe kt sane k sayangs?

things seem to fell into place now
no more time to plan new things now
so I'll just go with the flow

which i couldnt careless anymore

and things getting more and more like "Our marriage, THEIR wedding"

smlm, dah start distribute card among colleagues and bosses
and as expected, I've been getting some 'funny' reactions upon knowing I'm getting married
as from most of the chinese, it would be "Whoaaa..U're getting married liao ah???"
I'm 25, for malays, its a common age to get hitched
but not for (some) chinese
infact, to them, 30 pon kire masih awal... ngeeeeeeee

dh tu diikuti lak ngan soklan kepoh berbau honeymoon kt mane
ah ah ah
tak suke soklan ni
sebab sebab sebab....erm...sentap sikit bab ni
sebab sebab sebab...we have no plans for this

we're in such a tight budget
mane dgn majlis
daily expenses lagi
and of course, our crib
which demands a (hell) lot of moolah
so, honeymoon or hornymoon or whatever u name it, is not in our list
at least not for now la

mmg dulu ade la berangan nk gi sana, gi sini
berangan kan best
so bile berangan tu, mmg nk up up je...
siap dh survey² kt mane yg best
the price, the attractions and what not
pfffttttt


tapi, reality check, we're not that 'senang' to spend for that
how i wish money is not an issue for us.... "_"

tak payah nk pikir, kang ujung bulan aku nk makan ape????

however, deep down inside, i do hope we could have a couple of nights getaway
just the two of us, like most newlyweds do

ade sesape nk hadiahkan x? hahaha
coz namenye kami nk spend duit utk tu, mmg tak kot

nevertheless, knowing that we'll be staying on our own after the wedding,
keeps me sane

ahhhhhhhh...tak dpt honeymoon tempat grand² pon takpe
honeymoon je kt tingkat 8 tu hari² sampai muntah
swimming pool pon ade je kt bawah nun
(someone joked and says, "that's not honeymoon. thats honeystars!" lol)

at the end of the day, tak kesah la mane pon
yg penting, is the companion

our final 20

ade double meaning

first of, its 20th!
our 4th years and 6th months monthversary or whatever u call it
yeah. we I am that cheesy to wish him every freaking month
he, on the other hand, couldn't be bothered with dates
*sigh*

hence its the last time we'll celebrate the 20th
lepas ni, concentrate on the 11th pulak... :)

and coincidently, it marked 20 days to 11th dec
20.freaking.days.
mcm tak percaya.

p/s: girl dh blk puncak alam.. only He knows how i felt. been crying the whole night. :'(

22 Days to go

and I'm nervous

1 sec, I felt like.. "cepatla 11 dec"
tak sabar nk mulekan hidup berdua

and the next second,
terus "eh eh..tinggal ** hari je???byk nye tak settle lagi!!!! HELPPPP"


but most of the time
when i got caught in the later thought
I just brushed it off

I 'd prefer to think of our life after wedding (read: marriage life)
gatal? no la
tak payah la nk fikir only on the sexual side
i lebih kpd excited nk hidup bersama
to share everything together
materially, emotionally and spiritually


ni dh ade rumah, lg best berangan
dh fikir, bgn pagi, solat sama2, keluar gi keje sama2
then balik, jumpe kt rumah mak dia dulu
then balik rumah sama2

nnt kalau tak penat, i'll fix us some dinner
tang dinner ni i excited plus nervous sikit
he'd prefer non-rice for dinner
so i kene pandai pelbagai kan menu
meehun sup/goreng, sandwiches, hotdogs, chicken roasts
yong taufu, lempeng, roti jala, cekodok dan mcm2 lagi
oh tak sabar nk masak utk suami... :)

eh eh...tp itu pon, provided that the kitchen utensils cukup laaa
kang dapur gas pon takde, nk masak atas lighter kah?
duh?!

mmg menjadi impian mama and ayah... hiks!

so tak jadi lollies

then terpikir nk bagi cotton candy

tp malangnye, i tak jumpe vendor from jb
and masa pon dh suntuk utk teruskan pencarian

at the end, wat goodies pack sudah
memula mama yg tak berkenan
katanye nnt byk sampah
ala...buat kt dewan kn...
bukan kite yg kemas
takpe laaaa...
at least ade variety...

tp depan lagi
